Apochralypse [apochrypha + apocalypse] is a holistic exploration of what some thinkers have termed the Glass Age, the terminus of human existence as we know it.
Apochralypse is at once a digital cabinet of curios as well as a cogitation on “culture” in the end times (as presented by authors, poets, essayists, philosophers, and artists of the era). By anthologizing and annotating these works, I seek to explain the ethos of our time–if our ethos even has something resembling an explanation.
I want to explore what it was like to live in this beautiful yet horrific world. What did we think? What did we feel? What did we believe?
…But most of all, Apochralypse is a serious look at the absurd.
